BOTOย Trim is made of cellular PVC, itโ€™s easy to work similar to wood , but much less maintenance than wood. BOTO Trim is available with a smooth matte finish on both sides, or woodgrain on one side and smooth matte on the other. BOTO trim is high-performance trim product, it can be sealed edges based on your requirement. Over time, dirt will collect on the edges but a sealed edge allows the dirt to be washed off easily.

You can use the same high-quality fasteners typically used for wood installation. Standard nail guns perform excellently with BOTO Moulding and Trim Boards. Important Note: Never use staples, brads, or wire nails. The shanks of these fasteners are too small in diameter to adequately control the natural thermal expansion and contraction of the PVC material.
No, BOTO Moulding and Trim Boards are non-load-bearing and cannot be used in structural applications. They are designed strictly as decorative components. For any structural requirements, proper wood or metal load-bearing components must be incorporated. Always consult with your architect or builder to determine structural needs before installation
No, BOTO Moulding and Trim Boards usually do not require paint for protection. However, they can be easily painted if you wish to achieve a custom color match for your project or to neatly conceal filled nail holes.
For white or light colors, we highly recommend using a premium, 100% acrylic latex paint specifically developed for trim applications. Several paint manufacturers offer exterior coatings designed exclusively for PVC trim and mouldings. For darker colors, it is crucial to use paints explicitly labeled as “vinyl safe” or “heat reflective” to prevent heat buildup
